Midwood Maynia is Plaza Midwood’s official event to welcome warmer weather, the blossoms of spring and the beginning of the outdoor festival season with live music, food, beer from a local brewery, parade, great local merchants and fun activities for the kids. This event is free to all, so we welcome you to join friends, family, neighbors, artisans and many of our local businesses in beautiful Midwood Park for the annual Midwood Maynia festival.

• MIDWOOD MAYNIA PET PARADE 🐕🐕🐕

  • Gather at The Vine for a Blessing of the Pets: 10:15 am.
  • Parade starts: 10:30 am with Grand Marshal Ken Riel.

• FUN IN THE PARK: Food, cold beverages, lots to do, and great music. 11:30 am – 6:30 pm

• KIDSWOOD IN THE PARK: Kid-oriented fun! 11:15 am – 2:30 pm

  • Story Time with the library at 11:15 a.m.
  • Appearance from Chubby (Checkers Mascot) at 1:30 p.m.
  • Other kids’ activities include a bounce house and slides, face painting and a balloon artist.

  • 1:30 – 3:30 pm – Children’s Stepping Stone Art Project
  • 2 – 3 pm – Earth-friendly Gardening & Landscaping: Join neighborhood expert Don Boekelheide for ideas and tips
